Fotoman cameras are the brainchild of Li "Charlie" Chun, a prominent
Chinese commercial and landscape photographer. Along with his
commercial studio work Charlie has devoted many years photographing
the vast landscape of China, particularly western China and has
published several books on the subject. However developing Charlie's
cameras took more than just one mans vision. Enlisting the aid and
advise of other photographers, engineers, designers and
manufacturing specialists, Fotoman cameras are the work of many
talented individuals. People who care about Charlie's vision, and
who continue to work hard making his dream come true.
Fotoman Camera is dedicated to continual improvement of the
products we offer to the film based photographer. Our goal is to
provide the photographer with affordable, high quality, feature
filled cameras. Cameras that make photographs on BIG
film. Photographs that can be printed to massive size and still
retain the exacting detail and subtle tonalities that only large
film can provide.
